What areas of the country do you cover and would you be willing to travel?
I am based in South East London, my wedding photography service covers the whole of the UK. I mainly focus on working in London, however, I am more than happy to travel. Some recent locations have included Bath, Northampton, Crete and Cyprus!
What is your wedding photography style?
I would describe my wedding photography style as natural and relaxed. I like to include a good mixture of natural documentary photography with couples portraits, group shots and other details. I find this mixture is the best way to tell the unique story of your celebration.
Please do check out my galleries section for lots of recent wedding photographs.
How long is your photography coverage?
I have a full day rate to cover bridal prep all the way through to the first dance, which is 8-9 hours. I also have a half day rate which covers any 3-4 hours of your wedding day.
What is included in the wedding photography package?
A USB of high resolution fully edited photographs – approx. 400. A visit to the wedding venue with a mini shoot (to get you used to having your photo taken, like a mini engagement shoot) and a private online gallery holding all the photographs.
What albums/books do you have available?
I provide analogue prints which are carefully curated into traditional photo albums. Each album is embossed with your name. The photo albums tell a lovely story of your wedding day. From this album you will be able to see each image clearly and decide from there which image you would like to enlarge and reprint.
How many wedding photographs would I receive on the USB?
I do happily snap away throughout the day and for a full day rate you can expect between 400-500 photographs on the USB, all high-res and fully edited.
Will you arrange the group shots at the wedding if we wanted?
Of course I am more than happy to arrange any group photographs that you would like - on our venue visit we can find a perfect spot and layout for them. I like to plan them in advance and make them as interesting and relaxed as possible.
What happens if it rains on the wedding day?
I have photographed lots of wedding where it has rained. During the summer months it is usually just a shower so we can switch things around and do the outside photographs later in the day. Otherwise we can always find somewhere inside! There are always lots of options!
What equipment does Miranda Jane Photography own?
I have two professional Nikon Digital SLRs, along with several Nikon prime lenses. I have lots of CF cards, camera flashes and portable studio flash lighting.
How do we make a wedding photography booking?
Go to the contact section and send me a message with your date and location of wedding and I can start the conversation by checking availability. From there we can arrange to meet for the first time to discuss your day and any ideas you have about the photographs you would like! After this initial meeting I would ask 50% deposit as confirmation of the booking.
